Shipping policy

Overview:

This Freight Policy outlines the shipping rates and policies for Polar Diesel customers. This policy applies to all orders placed by Canadian and North American customers. Polar Diesel reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.

Shipping Rates:
● Shipping rates will be calculated based on your shipping location at checkout. Remote locations are not accurately calculated at check out, if we determine your order has been placed for delivery to a remote location we will contact you to advise you of the additional shipping cost to fulfill the order. At this time the additional freight cost will need to be paid prior to order fulfillment or the order will be canceled. Remote Locations typically include but are not limited to: Yukon, Nunavut, North West Territories, Hawaii and Alaska, parts of the Canadian east coast may also be determined as remote locations based on their geographical nature.
● Shipments outside of Canada may incur TARRIFFS and TAXES based on their ship to location. As a Canadian company we are only able to charge taxes within Canada, all shipments leaving Canada and entering into another country MAY INCUR TARRIFFS AND TAXES, we are unable to calculate these prior to shipping and these costs are the responsibility of the consumer.

Shipping Policies:

  1. All orders will be shipped via standard ground shipping, unless otherwise specified.
    2. Customers may request expedited shipping at an additional cost.
    3. All in-stock products will typically ship within 24-72 hours of order placement within regular business hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
    4. Polar Diesel is not responsible for any delays in shipping due to carrier delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
    5. Orders can only be shipped to the address provided by the customer at the time of order placement.
    6. Orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
    7. Orders placed for remote locations will need to be verified by the Polar Diesel prior to order submission.

Returns and Refunds:

1. All returns and refunds related to damaged or defective products must be authorized by Polar Diesel's customer service team.
2. Customers must report any damaged or defective products to Polar Diesel within 7 Days of receipt of the shipment.
3. Products damaged in shipping must be marked as such with the shipping carrier at the time of receipt. Polar Diesel is not responsible for items damaged in shipping as we have no control over packages once they have left our warehouse. These claims must solely be handled through the shipping carrier for a resolution.
4. Polar Diesel should it occur, will replace or refund the cost of the defective products, including shipping costs.
5. Returns and refunds for products ordered in error or no longer needed will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Approved items for returns must be in their original packaging, not used or installed. Items will be inspected upon receipt at the warehouse to ensure all components meet these guidelines and a refund order will be processed.
6. Items are eligible for return within 30 days after delivery of shipment. Returns requested after this period will not be accepted.
7. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs on all authorized return orders.

Conclusion:
By placing an order with Polar Diesel, the dealer or wholesaler agrees to be bound by the freight rates, drop shipping policy, and returns and refunds policy outlined in this Freight Policy. Polar Diesel reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
